Switching Again

At least I didn't start anything new.
Back to my already started Spirit of Vierlande from Long Dog Samplers.
I'm already thinking about what I want to do to make it my own.
For now, I'm just going to fill in the border and the large motifs, and make it my own with the small things later.

I've been wanting to order the cross stitch drawing program to get the latest version, which is a completely new version. I googled to get the coupon code, and then it was a great deal.
I really like to draw out the changes I want to make. I haven't been able to do that since the last computer crashed. (The coupon makes the program $20 instead of $50.)
I'm sure I won't need a lot of the new features for what I want to do, but I'm glad to have the program on the computer again.

Ordered the Julia Line ( Long Dog Samplers ) book from Amazon Canada.
It will release there on Dec 2.
With shipping the cost is $40. For 8 of her patterns, that is still a great deal.
Still have not seen any store in the US offering the book.
Now that I've got it on order, even it if takes a while, I'm still happy with that.

So I'll have a new drawing program, and a book of new patterns for inspiration, and winter.
Sounds like a nice way to start the New Year.
