My Sunday - Can't Decide What To Stitch - Project

Little House Needleworks - Wool Needlebook and Fob.
Bought it on Friday - Stitched it on Sunday.

On 25 count lugana, one over one. Changed the cream color to white.
Wished that I had changed the outside border from brown to green or black.
Even made a back to make the fob, but trying to stitch it into a fob at midnight, is not a good idea.
Haven't decided whether to frame it or fob it, or stitch another one, so I can do both.
Lovely little pattern. It's my $22 project, unless I can get a few more things out of that odd cut of material.

MC Escher - Hand With Reflecting Globe - Finished

Well, it still needs a mat and a frame, but the stitching is complete.

Of course I had to put my Escher magnets in the picture...

I have larger versions of those same magnet designs framed on the wall, and the cross stitch pattern to stitch 'Reptiles'.

At the moment I plan to only cross stitch the original set of patterns that were produced by Cross Stitch Collectibles. I have 10 of those patterns, and I love that they have limited the color palette.

I'm sure that 'Engineer' and 'Mosaic' will be the next two of his designs that I cross stitch.
And since they are all of similar size, I will probably wait to frame them till they are all completed.

Thanks again to Susan, for helping me, and understanding the frustration of finding that last pattern. Only another stitcher could understand. I'm sure that there are more at the bottom of some sale pattern bin, in some shop somewhere.... but you went above and beyond to help me get the last of the best.

Only 4 More Pages To Go

Only 4 more pages to go..... 12 of the 16 pages completed......
I love that you can see the chairs in the background reflected, and that you can stitch it and it doesn't just become a blob in the background...... yet the whole design will finish at 6.25 x 9.25 inches.

Two More Pages Done

Two more pages done. Six more pages to do.
I'm not saying the artist name on purpose because 80% of the hits to this blog are looking for patterns by this artist. From the Netherlands and Moscow and the US too. I really didn't think that I would see more than one or two hits in the next year searching for the artist name and cross stitch pattern as the search request on Google. I was wrong.
It's obvious that they could be selling many more of this artists patterns if they were available.
It's not that I don't want those people here, but I'd prefer that they hit an older blog entry that listed the patterns that I know were available. That info would probably be more helpful.
