Filling In

I re-watched all 10 episodes of Making a Murderer.  You would think I'd be nearly done, but I'm not.
But a girl and sheep are seen now.  I omitted the text at the bottom, so I think adding more leaves and berries will make that less obvious, and balance it overall.
I got rid of two working tvs a while back.  Less in the house is good.  This week my bedroom tv gave up, making me wonder if getting rid of extras is a good thing or not.  I went out and got a brand new tv, and took the broke one to be recycled.  But I'm going to have to rearrange the furniture to make it fit... and it takes up more dresser space, so I'm not sure where that stuff goes.  It's now a whole project.
Or today, I could just stitch....    Stitch?, or move furniture and clean?  There are some decisions that are too easy to make.

After a week....

After a week of stitching.  Those single stitch borders around the windows are my downfall on this project, most of them are not done yet.  Stitched one of the sheep, but it didn't really show, so I'll try a different color.  It's a project that has been kitted up and waiting for years.

Back to the same point...

I'm going to say I am back to where I messed up last time.
Between breaking the plate that day, and snipping the fabric, I also set a paper towel on fire while wiping up grease spatter.  It was not my day.  Now I considered a normal, no fire, nothing breaking day to be really nice and wonderful, instead of just a normal boring day.  Perspective I guess.  We all need that from time to time.

Begin Again...

Okay, I worked on this for two long days, and then decided  a few stitches were not laying flat.  So I'd pull them out and re-stitch them.  But I cut a material thread...  aw crap.
So I am now beginning again.
I'd started it on a lambswool color the first time, and this time I picked a light gray.

I started today by dropping a 4 quart empty cooking pot onto a corelle plate in the kitchen sink.  It shattered the plate.  But it was all in the sink making it a safe place to break and easy to know I got all the shards.

I was going to get groceries, but I'm not leaving the house after this was the way my day started.

Done in a Week

Living with Charm from Lizzie Kate.
DONE!  And even ironed.  It's still not really a piece that I like.  But it did have color, and I did finish it.  And then I started a chart from my stash.  I did iron the Death by Cross Stitch, and I'm admiring it from the sofa, but I'm not quite ready to just go back to it yet.

This is more than halfway.
And I had to re-stitch the GIV - I spaced it wrong.  And the L with the big dot - in Listen.  Just wasn't laying flat.  Frogged and restitched it.  I wanted something different - and it's different for me.

A little color...

This is my compromise to add a little color.  Lizzie Kate's - Living With Charm.
6 charts - 12 words total...  On 28 count white evenweave - one over one.  Using suggested dmc colors.  Should be about 2.75 inches by 13.5 inches.  There was a scrap the perfect size in my stash.  I did have to go buy 2 skeins of floss.
This is one long night's worth of stitching.   It's a sort of funny choice of charts. It was what I have - not a favorite, or on my list of charts I want to stitch...  It's just something to stitch with color.
I'm not putting the other chart away - it's within reach.  It's just something to stitch that will cost me less than a dollar.

Color... I miss color....

Starting the 11th floss.
I really want to start something else at this point.  Something with color...  please....
