It's All About The Corners.

Skipping around, added the border since I was bored stitching in that corner.  That matched up perfectly on the first try.  So I started random filling in on that upper area. 

Picked back up Blackbird Designs - Our Lasting Friendship.  Filled it in.  Below is where it was when I picked it back up again.  I'm really pleased it got this much more added to it.

MFE2021 SAL - Fruits of Plenty - May.  Completed the 5th section.  Modern Folk Embroidery.

Floral Motif Sampler - Scarlett House.  This was the a new start.  On PTP Vellum 28 count lugana, one over one.  I love this fabric for this.  Using called for fancy flosses.  This fabric color has to be a new favorite for me.  I would have purchased more, but they were already sold out.

Blackbird Designs - Cats on Parade.  This was a new start.  Using black anchor floss 403, on PTP Gingerbread lugana 28 count, one over one.  Mine will not be very big if I make it into a pincushion.  That is why I put the floss and the ruler in the photo.  The camera flash is washing this out so never go by my photos for color.

Stitching Away...

 Marie Lucie - Muriel Brunet.  From the book.  Random pull from the started pile. Below is what it looked like when I picked it back up.

Back it goes into the pile.  But I was pretty happy to get that much more added.  I just want something different for the political day.  With so many things started, I'm happy to just make progress.  Everything needs progress.  Basically trying for a few days on anything, doesn't really matter. Then toss it back, pull another.  So the projects showing up here, are gonna seem really random. 

Started Seeking Refuge from Scarlett House.  On PTP Legacy 28 count lugana, one over one.  Fancy flosses and dmc black.  I wanna say - Legacy is PERFECT for this.  What I loved is the verse, and it certainly fits a pandemic.  But I want to modify the design to just the verse, and the bottom border, then flip the bottom border upside down for the area above the words.  It would be lovely as a drum...  mine will never get that far, but I wanted to see the start of the plan, so it became a new start.  Omitting all the top parts of the pattern.  The fabric has a perfect hint of the same tones of green.  This is the first page, and a fair start.

 Scarlett House - Samplers.
Finish #4 for 2020.  On PTP Ale, 28 count jobelan, one over one, fancy flosses.
I changed the barn gray suggested to dmc darker gray.  I liked the sheep better than the dogs.  The bird in the letter L was done in that barn gray - changed it to red.  The side building next to the house is ecru fancy floss, it doesn't show very well, and the flower tips and the rabbit next to the S were supposed to be that, changed it to the fancy white instead, changed the rabbit to the chocolate floss.  Changed the QR to the darker gray.
