Two pages completed...

Long Dog Samplers - Act of God.  This is two skeins of dmc used.  Two pages of twenty completed.  There are five pages across the bottom, four rows.  I like stitching it, I just needed a break so I will continue to love it.

Friends of the Hart - Heartstring Samplary.  A random grab while I was looking for something else.  But I spent a few days on it, and added more, but it is now getting tossed back for another grab.  Where it was when I picked it back up.  This is pretty color accurate.

If I stay with it longer I will just slow down stitching on it.  But it had been so long since I picked it up, it needed something added.  I am pleased with the stitches added.

Finished - Begin Row...

Begin Row - Bent Creek.  The 6th Finish for 2021.  One over one, on 25 count Moss Lugana using called for fancy called for flosses except the dmc ecru, which I changed to Chalk fancy floss.  Otherwise it just didn't show.  It is a lovely pattern.  My fabric is older, so a bit darker than what you get if you order it now.  It's a bit more green mint color now I think.

It looked like this when I picked it back up again.

This is My Shadow by Heartstring Samplery.  This round decided to stitch the outline.   There are words in her skirt...  but once I put those in - it's all fill in.  It's not a favorite pattern, but I have started it, so I added a couple days this round, and it's now tossed back in the pile again.

This is what it looked like when I picked it back up again.

Progress then ....

Plum Street - Friends of the Hart.
Above is where I picked it back up.  Below is what I got done before it went back in the pile again.
Then I just  grabbed other stuff to start...
Heartstring Samplery - Simple Living Sampler.
Fancy flosses.  But the colors are not my taste.  I like the sampler, I'm trying it in the suggested flosses, you never know.  Antique White jobelan 28 count.
Stacy Nash Primitives - Hallowe'en Jack Sewing Roll.
Colour and Cotton Jazlyn 28 count in Steel.  Dmc 310.
With Thy Needle and Thread - Fruit For a Song CS49.
Uses all dmc and nothing fancy.  Photo sucks.  On Colour and Cotton - Alabaster 32 ct jobelan.
Trying it 1 over 2 - which I rarely try.  But with the large grass area, and using dmc, I can try a hunk at a time.
** And I did see I also started another Lizzie Kate - Wouldn't It Be Nice....  forgot that one...
Today I switched and grabbed something from the stuff I have started.  I have started way too many new things lately.  I need a finish.  I was really happy with the top one and the progress, and then just went off the rails.

Finish #6

This is where it was when I picked it up again....
This is now finished.  Baby It's Cold Outside from Heartstring Samplery.
On 28 count PTP Ale, one over one.  I changed the outside border to Dark Chocolate, the house to Merlot, the trees to Juniper.  The windows are just the fabric, but almost appear lit, and I don't have a floss that works, so skipping it.   Altered the letters slightly here and there.  Added the apostrophe to make it say 'it's', not 'its'  I wanted the house darker, the border darker, it's supposed to be green  diamonds and red dots.  I felt it might pop better with white dots and red dots to pull it together.
Skipped adding the three chimneys.  Finished size is slightly over 5 by 3.25 inches
It's finish #6 for this year so far.  I am not picky about the order I finish things, just that I do finish something now and then.
